    First Paterson smart faucet was faulty out of the box. Mine replaced the body of the faucet. After installation, the swipe functionality does not work to change the temp of the water; items dispensed at the same temperature regardless of swipe direction. Documentation is completely inadequate to troubleshoot and wait times when calling the support number are 93 minutes. Absurd.

What you experienced is not consistent with the quality we strive to provide. The Moen S72003EVSRS Paterson Smart Kitchen Pull-down faucet does not have our Motion Control feature, and you would not be able to adjust the temperature with hand motions. We see that you have already worked with our Moen Smart Water product specialists to troubleshoot these issues. Moen Smart Water product specialists can be reached at 1-844-633-8356 and are available Monday through Friday from 8:00 am – 7:00 pm Eastern Time and on Saturdays from 9:30 am – 6:00 pm Eastern Time.

    Just installed, mechanical went smoothly, can't connect smart features. Apparently, the faucet only supports a 2.4g network. I have a google mesh network that does not split out the 2.4 and 5g networks, not googlea fault, bad design of the faucet technology. Do not buy if you have normal everyday tech i.e. a mesh network. Very Disappointed.

    Followed the steps both in manual and on app, restarted several times and still only get the yellow flashing lights, even after “troubleshooting” as stated.

    No, I do not recommend this product.

    App Setup Needs Some Serious Improvements

    I just installed my new Smart Faucet. At this time, manual controls do not work, touchless does not work. The only thing partially working is the app. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't despite the app health status showing Green. The setup of the app is the worst experience I've ever had with an app. Let's start with name of the app. Instruction manual says to download the Moen app. This gives you the impression there is only one Moen app. Wrong! The product is called "U By Moen Smart Faucet. There is a U By Moen Smart Shower app but no other U By Moen apps. It's the Moen Smart Water App. Once you launch the app, if you don't get everything performed within a certain length of time, the app times out. And I'm talking less than 5 minutes. Each time I restart the app, I had to go through the registration process. I received 8 emails from Moen. Once it's registered, it should be registered. If I am moving onto the next step in the setup, I assume the previous step is complete. The Moen wifi also times out after about 5 minutes and you have to reset the control box by unplugging it or inserting a paper clip in the reset hole. Tips: Have your home wifi password available before starting this process. Before installing, take a picture of the QR code and print it or you'll be crawling under the sink to retrieve it each time. I have other smart appliances and the bridging between the Moen network and my wifi network is far from an advanced thought process. Hey Moen - take a peek at the GE appliance network setup to grasp the shortfalls of yours. As for the remaining issues (touchless and manual not working) I may need to call Moen support as the Troubleshooting suggestions have not helped. One last comment, it's fine that you print the url's to all these helpful links in the manual, but stick a QR code on the end of each so we don't have to try and type in the URL. I'm installing a smart faucet, you can assume I have a smartphone.
