Moen Arlys Single Handle Bathroom Faucet, Matte Black

Size was exactly what i needed to replace my old faucets. Style and appearance was a good value for the price. My only disappointment was the plastic drain. It felt flimsy and cheesy and cheap.

I have had the same bathroom faucet for the past 20 years. After the cartridge began to leak, I wasn't sad about having to replace it with something new. I began on the path of searching for a new design, something that was more modern looking, I looked at some big box home improvement stores, but was turned off by their selection. I narrowed down the type of look, style, and color I wanted and found the Moen, that fit all of my criteria, least of which was its affordable price and a brand name that I know and can trust. The installation of the faucet was light years easier than the old 'ancient' faucets, which I really appreciated. The fact it works with a 3-hole sink (plate cover included) or a single hole sink, makes it versatile and I like having the option for either configuration. The drain stopper, is so much easier to use, simply push to close the drain, and press again to open the drain. The old generation of sink stoppers, like I used to have would occasionally disconnect, with a full sink of water and unable to drain it; what a pain that was. I'm very happy all around with this faucet!

This is a sleek, easy to use faucet. My only concern is that the matte black is delicate. I did damage the finish on the base plate with a ZEP all purpose bathroom cleaner. Makes me very sad as it's only 2 years old. I am not sure if that piece is replaceable?

It was ok. The drain plug was missing out of the sealed kit but the unit was replaced with no trouble but I had to make the second trip.
