14 years ago- A: Synthetic oil has a shelf life. For the synthetic Mobil-1, 5w-30, it is five years. As long as you are within this period the oil will be fine. Storing oil at room temperature can help exceeding the shelf life rating.Anonymous13 years agoHelpful?

Q: Mobil 1 Oil My Mercedes engine requires Mobil 1 0-40W oil. CT stock in 1 litre but do not show it in the 4.4 litre size. Is it available as a special order item? At sale prices?
