Beats using cables.

Works beautifully. So far only used for 1 boost, but will keep it in the trunk. Good insurance. I'll probably use it more boosting others. Beats using cables.

Failed - 1st use/1 month old

I bought this unit 1 month ago because my Honda pilot car battery died, and today it died again, so I went to use this Eliminator XB25 2500amp booster pack and even though the booster pack was charged to 100% it could not start the car. Followed the instructions very closely, even tried the manual override and it could not start the car. Luckily I was at home in my driveway, so I ended up using a wall plugin car charger to charge the car battery and was able to then start the car that way. I ended up returning the product today for a full refund. Was so excited to have this product and some peace of mind, but unfortunately it failed on it's 1st use as some other reviewers noted as well..

No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: How long can I keep it stored in my car without use before it needs to be recharged?

A: Mine decreases 5 to 10% per month so should be useable 4-6 months between charges while stored. I recharge mine every two months to ensure maximum capacity before long trips.
