Product Details

The Magellan MiVue 260 Dashcam is a quality front window camera that records video in Full HD (1920x1080) at 24fps or HD (1280x720) at 30fps. This cost effective dash camera provides drivers with security and peace of mind by capturing unexpected events while on the road. The included mount allows the MiVue 260 to rotate and capture what is happening inside your vehicle; while the 2.3” hi-resolution display is great for watch recorded footage on the unit. The MiVue 260 comes with an intuitive user interface making it simple to set up and, once plugged in to your vehicle’s power connector, begins recording in a continuous loop. In addition to the HD recording resolution the MiVue 260 captures the road ahead with a wide 110◦ Field of View (FOV), records at 24 or 30FPS, and provides excellent video quality.

DO NOT BUY IT SKIPS RECORDING.

This has to be the worst dashcam I've ever owned. It skips recording all the time and do not provide the accurate dates. I thought I was recording all my trips and but would only record for 9 seconds . DO NOT PURCHASE THIS. NOT WORTH THE DISCOUNT AND THE TIME.

I've got Magellan Dash Cam as a gift. Installed and it was dead - no signs of life except small red light. Just lost my time. I had 4 Magellan GPS units before - all of them were faulty. I do not recommend any product of Magellan.

The instructions fail to tell you how to the the date and time. I had to contact the company for this very important information. Power key needs to be used as part of the process.

owners manual is misleading

in the owners manusl says the unit shuts off when you shut the car off . this is only if the power to your 12v outlets turns off which mine do not. The video is recorded in 40 second bursts.so you have 200 videos to look at after a 2 hr drive would be better if it was continuous. so
