All but one of the plants have come up. Does not need to be by a window until the plants gets taller. Easy to set up. Great buy.

I bought this for my counter. The 2 basil plants are coming up great. The dill burns under the light so i put a glass over it. The other 2 are slow to start. I'm looking forward to putting lettuce in next. note: it comes with 6 pods and a small bottle of food. you have to keep buying the pods and plant food for this to work. Unfortunately cdn tire in Campbellford didn't have either.

Bought unit from local Canadian Tire store. Not impressed as no instructions were provided. Fortunately You-tube video helped setting up. Had some difficulty with setting time feature. Also the box containing the seed pods was not like the You-tube video. The pods were loose in the box and the date of the box was 2021. Not to confident of the germination going forward. Overall not impressed as no

Poor Customer Support.

Great countertop gadget for growing fresh herbs. But the Customer Support is non-existent. One of the seed pods that came with it never sprouted. We completed their online support form - provided name, address, email, date of purchase, copy of the CT receipt, even a photo of the dud seed pod. Never heard from them. And there's no way to follow up, since they don't provide their email address. It's a waste of time to go through the return process again.
The product is quite nice, but don't count on getting any support for it if you ever need it.
No, I do not recommend this product.

A: I have the small sized aerogarden and find that if I have large plants I need to add water almost every day. If you go on vacation for a weekend, it should be ok. Any longer and the plants may dry up.

A: This product can definitely grow spinach. Keep in mind, Spinach may get too tall to fit under the light depending on when you want to harvest it. I have grown all kinds of plants (including medical plants) using these devices with wild success.

A: Are you sure? Is it simply on when you get up in the morning? If not, you may have to start turning it off at the same time every evening until it behaves. Exactly the same time! It should get the message eventually. Shouldn't take too many trys.
