Good very compact starter metal detector

What I liked about this metal detector is that it is very compact. Make it easy to take it to you anywhere and use it at opportunity instead of being specific outing. Options are somewhat limited, but it is a good starting point. Reason for only four stars is that Bluetooth would not connect to newer phones and only works with an older phone. Not a big deal but if you want to track your finds through the app, it does not work on iPhones 12 and 14.

I bought this metal detector as it was on special and the reviews were favourable, i must admit im not a huge fan, its easy to use, compact and comes with the necessary accessories but.....accuracy has a lot to be desired and distinguishing between metals, its a great option for kids and complete novices and would be great fun at the beach but sadly not for me, i returned this product and upgraded to the vanquish

Not as advertised

Canadian Tire did a bad job advertising this product - it is not waterproof - only thing waterproof is the phone case. The device is safe to scan over puddles and to be used in the rain but that is as far as it goes.
No, I do not recommend this product.

A: So this is a basic entry level detector -that being said, we went to a metal detecting event and it worked great - the company is well known and respected in detecting - we were successful in finding items up to 6 inches and could normally tell the type of target associated
