I was getting so many slivers in my hands from sanding tiny intricate parts of my front door; trying for the 1st time to refinish it. Thick gloves weren't an option as it was impossible to hold sand paper. I needed SOMETHING BETTER than classic sanding blocks to get into the small cornets, so in that regard, this worked so much better!! The only thing that was annoying which isn't a big deal, is cutting sand paper to fit this tool & how quickly the the paper along the edges wore through compared to the rest of the sand paper. Great tool in general. Saved my hands!!
