So Handy

Mine has the keyless chuck and it was so handy to use. I was fishing wires through walls and couldn't have done the job without it. It went through 1/2 inch plywood plus the 2 x 6.

This tool is solidly built. The option to install the handle on either side is wonderful. Speaking of that handle, what a great add.... this handle gives you the control and power to drive your spade bits or hole saw through tight spaces from weird angles. Well done on this product. I love that the unit can rotate once it is inserted into my drill as well to reach any area.

Decent 90 Degree Attachment

I bought this Milescraft Drill90 unit, along with a DeWalt Impact Drive 90 #054-0705-6 and a Mastercraft 6-pc Stubby Auger Bit Set #054-4245-6.
I used the Milescraft Drill90 with a Makita 10mm Variable-Speed Reverseable AC power drill.
I required the Drill90 90 degree attachment to drill a lot of 3/8 inch, 3/4 inch and 1 inch holes into a bunch of 2x12 floor joists to run some wiring. Many of the joists were doubled, requiring a lot of work to drill through the 3+ inches of wood.
The Drill90 took absolutely everything I threw at it with no problems at all. The unit has a reversible handle, allowing you to easily use it either left-handed or right-handed.
There were no grinding gears or bits falling out of the chuck like the other reviewer encountered, so I don't know why he was having issues.
This type of bit chuck does have 3 holes, always tighten the chuck by cycling through all 3 holes to make sure it is properly tight.
I would give this unit 4.5 stars if I could.
The only negatives I found with it is the chuck key does not have a lanyard or any wired attachment to the Drill90 unit, so it would be easy to lose.
I also noticed that the chuck holes and chuck key were not a really tight fit, so use some care when tightening up the chuck.
For the price, I found this unit to be very acceptable, and it completed the work with no serious issues.
