Doesn't work at full capacity with Dewalt Cordless saw

The jig is working fine with regular circular saw. The only reason why I gave only 3 on 5 is because I bought it to use my cordless Dewalt 7 1/4 circular saw with it. But using Dewalt cordless circular saw, we cannot plunge at maximum deep because the battery hit the retain mechanism. I bought it to be able to cut thick peace where the regular Makita track saw, with its 6 1/2 blade, couldn't do. Now I need to buy a corded circular saw to do it. It would be probably cheeper to build a custom jig than buying this one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This track saw guide works nicely, once set up. There is a bit of a set up time needed to get it all correct, but cuts nice and true once all clamped in. The length is a bit limited, without buying more track.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great gadget for around the house and diy projects. Especially for beginners or the seasoned diy’er that just wants the ease of running the blade. It’s good for those longer straight cuts and board rips. I have an older saw and it fit fine and didn’t have too many issues. I did find it to have a little bit of resistance from the saw sliding in the track but like I said I have an older saw that is extremely used so I can’t say it has anything to do with the track. Overall I’m impressed and def recommend it.
