The Milescraft DrillBlock™ drill guide allows you to drill straight holes all of the time, on many different drilling surfaces. On the drill guide bushing block, there are 6 holes for common drill bits sizes. The bushing block is held at a tight tolerance and allows you to drill a hole 90° to any surface, centered on a round item or even directly into the corner of your project.

This jig or the drill bit?

I'll change my rating if it turns out I'm wrong about this. Also, I know this is a very economical (cheap) product. I just needed something to do a few simple dowels. Actually, I'm not sure if the problem is this jig or the new bit I just bought. But.... the 1/2" bit doesn't want to fit in the 1/2" opening of this jig. One of them has to be out of spec but I'm not sure which one. Has anyone else run into anything like this?

No, I do not recommend this product.
