this vacuum really sucks

This vacuum has a ton of sucking power. Fantastic at sucking. But the powerhead sits so low to the floor that it literally gets sucked down onto the carpet. The power head is NOT height adjustable which makes vacuuming a carpet one heck of an arm workout. No kidding, even on the lowest suction setting it was so much work to move the vacuum around the carpet. I returned it immediately and bought the Kenmore for half the price and couldn't be happier.

I have only been using it for a few days, but I'm fully satisfied. I was going to drop a star because the wand and power head don't stand up on their own, but then I discovered the neat way the wand slots into the canister body so it stands up (not freestanding, but that is not an issue).
I have been using rechargeable stick vacs for years, but they have a hard time picking up dry grains of rice, so I wanted something that really sucks. So far so good! I haven't tested it to see if it picks up pennies like my Mom's canister Hoover from the 70's did though.

I love it better than the C3 Excellence. It's lighter and the filter bag is a redesign that sits better inside and doesn't not leak. It's light and quiet. The exhaust air is clean too.

Miele Endures

We bought this to replace our 25+ old Miele S2 Electro Plus. The old unit performed well and believe this one will too. The new unit works well and we expect it will last as long also. Even though we have hardwood floors we wanted a power head option for future versatility. It comes with the same style power head as our older S2. Miele makes a durable machine that works well.
