Q: can this product be customized to fit on a 8 foot trailer without a tailgate? The inside dimensions of the wooden trailer are 4 feet wide and 8 feet long. There is no tailgate.

A: Unfortunately, the mid-size load handler would likely not work with a trailer that does not have a tailgate as the mechanism to operate the sheet attaches to the tailgate (see attached).
