    Product Details

Enjoy a smooth ride with the Michelin CrossClimate® All-Weather Tire for Passenger & CUV. This tire works well in all types of weather, offering good performance on dry roads and strong traction on snow. It combines the benefits of a summer tire with winter capabilities and its premium construction ensures long-lasting performance and safety. This tire is compatible with electric vehicles (EVs), enhancing versatility.

    Snow Peak Rated

The 3 Peak Mountain Snowflake symbol indicates the tire is rated for Severe Snow Service. This is the acceptable standard for winter driving in Canada and provides improved safety on snow and ice.

    Not Great In Snow

    They should handle snow better.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Happy, tire performance is good as rated, especially on wet and snow-covered pavement. Have only had these tires on a Hyundai Tucson AWD Ltd. Hybrid for three months, so no long-term wear results are possible. Have had many different makes of all-weather high performance tires for many decades and have been happy with all previous Michelin models, but the tread design of the CrossClimate is superior.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

It has been a snowy winter in the Hudson Valley and the tires have worked well in all conditions. I have a 450ft upwardly slopping driveway and they climb it easily.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Questions

    1 - 2 of 2 Questions

Q: I have been researching tires for my sons escape. He does the vast majority of his driving in Calgary. Does this tire perform well in the city or is there a better choice? Cost is an issue.

    • A: Alex’s response is not correct.  These tires carry the 3-Peak Mountain Snow Flake (3PMSF) stamp, which indicates it is approved for winter and severe weather use.  The Canadian Government requires that tires marked with a three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMS) symbol must comply with minimum safety standards for winter driving.  Is it as good as a dedicated snow tire?  Usually not, but some 3PMSF tires have tested very well in direct comparisons.  This is a worthy alternative to dealing with two sets of tires for summer vs. winter driving.

Q: A second question. While most reviews on the cross climate and cc2 are good several complain about noise, premature wear and handling issues after about 10K. Can you explain cause for these issues?

    • A: Hi, thank you for your question. While the issues mentioned in those specific reviews do not reflect the overall consumer feedback, reviews are subjected to individual's viewpoint and experience. Unfortunately, we are not able to pinpoint the cause of each user's viewpoint.
