Melamine is, by far, the best material for camping. These cups are, by and large, indestructible. I've dropped them onto rock from 5 or so feet. No issues. You buy these, you buy them for life.

Q: Are these mugs dishwasher and/or microwave safe? I end up using some of my camping gear at home and/or want a quick way to clean up after camping. Can these melamine mugs go in the dishwasher? What about microwave?
