Q: 1. Oil based product? or Water based? 2. Works as a protectant? (UV rays or Oxidation) 3. Can i use on new black trims to prevent from fading?

A: It doesn't say if it's oil based or not. However I used it on all my exterior plastic and it lasted over 6 months before having to reapply. It is a UV protectant and using it on new trim will help prevent fading, but you have to reapply regularly. I hand wash, so if you are taking it through an automatic wash, you may only get a month or so before having to apply again.

Q: Can this product be used on faded coloured plastic say on a four wheeler to make the dull shine again? Like red?

A: It will restores faded trim to a nice new looking black but will not add much shine.

Q: Does this leave a greasy finish or a matte finish? I mean will it work on plastic floor mats such as WeatherTech mats without leaving a greasy and unsafe finish behind?

A: You should use sparingly but typically this will leave a nice black appearance and be almost totally dry, not greasy.
