Q: What is the depth of each seedling pocket?

  • A: Each pocket is about 4 inches deep. I filled each about 2/3 with potting mix and only the top third with seedling mix. Seemed to work. Shape seems to allow for easy removal of seedlings.

Q: Will the 21 cell tray fit in the 059-4570-0 McKenzie tray? It looks like the dimensions are the same but the height is a little to short.

  • A: The 21 cell tray is 10.8” x 21.23”. A jiffy dome is 11” x 22”. The dome will fit on the 21 cell tray.
