Worked great for enlarging some metal holes but after the first bore it became noticeably less sharp. Even wile using oil to lubricant the drill bit.

Did not perform as expected

The drill bit worked as it should for the first 6 holes then started to heat up due to becoming dull. It did not stand up to repeated use. I would not recommend this bit to anyone wanting to drill more than a couple holes in steel.

Lesson learned

I bought this to use to drill aluminum, I did not end up using it, i fortunately I came across another site that was selling a similar drill bit for half the price of this one so I bought 2 of them for the price i paid for this. I am going to point out that CT pricing seems to be increasing to where I need to shop around to get the best price. It was also the same with there 15 gallon air compressors there was a 13 gallon that was over a100$ cheaper. The only thing I feel CT has going for themselves is the 24 month 0% financing when you spend over 200.

No Good for steel

This drill bit is not make for drilling holes in steel. I tried to drill hole in a piece of steel flat and made it about 1/8 of an inch through before the drill bit went dull.
