Sturdy but magazine pops out repeatedly.

First week of use, and the hammer mechanism seems well built. It has a design issue: the spring loaded magazine keeps popping out and is very frustrating. It seems very easy for your palm to touch where the magazine latches, and the slightest touch releases it. Clearly not tested design. I’ll need to return it, as I cannot have this happen when up on a ladder.

Decent tracker can’t beat 30 bucks

It’s the cheapest cost wise in the city. About same quality as even the good ones are not built to last. I have been through probably 1000 hammer tackers as a residential insulator and easily drive 5000 a day with this bad boy. Same as all the rest. Springs are always the issue. Sure wish they still sold just spring replacements. The grip is quite bulky and not really ideal for commercial work as I don’t even hold it fully by the grip more towards the end for the ease of driving the staple and allows for a better angle wile tacking. But can’t go wrong for 30 Bucks they all break the same way and they all last just about as long

A: You need to push the metal plate at the bottom of the stapler inward and then lift up to unhook it. Then you can pull out the staple magazine to load.
