Its the most convenient griddle

I used this griddle in my garage as my backyard is presently under construction because I just moved to a new home and it is literally the most convenient grid Ive ever done . It gave little smoke and my little kids were able to participate in the grilling fun as well.

The box is 39.5" L x 15.5" H x 24.5" W and is very heavy so bring a friend to help lift it. The pre-assembled core of the griddle is superbly done and feels like it's very good quality. Anything that isn't already attached such the fasteners and the plastic caps on the wheels seem like they're a lower grade. I find that with both burners running at about 60-75%, a 1lb propane tank will last two outings, including one function where I cooked for about 20 people at a park (mostly hungry teenaged boys). Craziest part is that once fully assembled, the griddle fits into the trunk of my old Acura EL. I can easily lift the griddle into or out of the car my own, and the wheels roll easily on bumpy surfaces like grass and gravel trails. I love the hooks for my utensils and the small shelf is big enough for anything else I need like oil, water and seasonings. The temperature in the middle of the griddle will reach 300 C, which is enough to char when cooking fried rice. Burgers and steaks develop a beautiful sear and I love making caramelized onions on the griddle as a topping. Overall, this product exceeded my expectations!

A: Thank you for your inquiry. Yes, the Master Chef Grill Turismo 2 Burner Portable Gas Griddle can easily reach temperatures upwards of +550F when preheated on MAX. The Hot-Rolled steel Griddle surface has excellent heat retention. For this reason, griddle surfaces tend to cook/sear food much faster than a regular cooking grates so we recommended users start at lower settings and increase the temperature gradually, rather than starting at a max and trying to work backwards.
