Sturdy, heavy duty - hard to assemble

The product itself is good once assembled (although 1 drawer comes pre-installed in a way that it blocks another drawer from opening - so you have to open both drawers each time). The main issue with this product is it’s quite difficult to set up - it’s heavy, there are pieces that swing open as you try to move it & the instructions are poor. Again, once setup, it’s sturdy & does the job well.

Q: I'd like a rolling tool chest... is it possible to add casters to this? And is it sturdy enough to be moved around? (it looks like the wings may be hinged at the top so this worries me...)

  • A: Dear valued customer, for safety reasons, we do not recommend adding casters to this cabinet. Adding casters raises the cabinet’s height. If weight is concentrated on one end, the other end may lift up due to an unstable center of gravity, which could cause tipping and potential personal injury or property damage.

  • A: Went to pick mine up... Make sure you have a large SUV or truck for pickup time. It is large and heavy. I had to sit it on its back in my Jeep Grand Cherokee back row seats down.
