Bought 3 of these units to replace the ones I passed on to my granddaughter who purchased her first house. I would have given it 5 stars but I found the way the supports joined together was very finicky. You have to get the joiner exactly lined up top and bottom with the holes of the two pieces. It easy for the metal joiner to miss a hole and your shelf could come apart. My previous shelving the uprights slotted into each other. Apart from that they look smart and can hold a lot of weight. Just make sure top and bottom supports are joined together correctly.

Étagère robuste et bien fait, il faut s'assurer de faire le montage adéquatement. Les 2 rivets de chaque côté des barres de soutien des tablettes doivent être bien insérer dans les trous prévus. Surtout très important, les barres de soutien pour la jonction des 4 poteaux doivent être installés avec un rivet dans le poteau du haut et un rivet dans le poteau du bas pour assurer la solidité. Les commentaires des gens non-satisfaits et ceux qui montrent les étagères affaissées n'ont pas respectés ces éléments importants du montage.

It's ok. Not as sturdy as I'd like (plastic holds the two uprights) and it's hard to get all four points of the connectors in. But for the money, it's a good shelf.

Q: for totally upright how do u connect the top 1/2 to the bottom 1/2? We r totally baffled...Do they get put together somehow with the joiners or r the joiners only for side by side?

  • A: The two halves need to be connected with a shelf. The upper part of the shelf should be connected to the top half and the lower part of the shelf should be connected to the bottom half

Q: would this safly hold a 25-30 gallon fish tank i need a good sturdy stand for my fish tank, would this be good?

  • A: A 25-30 Gallon tank should weigh around 350-400lbs when full. The shelves are rated for 800. Should be fine. As the other answer has said keep middle or lower and consider mounting the shelves into a wall stud to ensure stability.
