Sturdy, compact and powerful

My husband and I are quite impressed with this handy impact wrench. My husband recently purchased some rims and tires for one of our vehicles and decided to install them himself. This tool made the installation go efficiently and fast. He was able to torque off our old wheels in no time and install the new set and then finish tourquing by hand to the cars specifications. The impact wrench lasted for the whole removal and installation and still had battery power left. My husband was also impressed that the battery pack was included as many tools require you to purchase the battery pack separately. He also used it on our outdoor pergola and it also performed really well. I've had this tool for about a month and we've used it on a variety of projects. I usually like to try something out more than once before providing a review and I've had some tools work amazingly out of the box and then over a period of time the performance goes down. But I'm happy to report that so far there have been issure with this impact wrench or the battery pack and its working just as efficiently as the first project we used it on.

Powerful cordless tool, great to diy projects

Thanks to Canadian Tire and Butterly, we received the Mastercraft 20V Impact Wrench Kit free in exchange for an honest review. This kit comes complete with the 1/2-inch cordless impact wrench, a 2 Ah PWR POD battery & charger, and is rated at 150 lb-ft of torque. We tested the impact wrench on a 2015 GMC Sierra. Starting with a fully charged battery, we removed and reinstalled all 24 lug nuts. The tool struggled with a few lugs but was able to remove all of them under its own power. By the final wheel, the battery had used about half its charge. Our torque tests showed it delivered 150 lb-ft of torque with a full battery and delivered about 140 lb-ft at half charge. Overall, this is a good-value tool for everyday use on common vehicles and midsize pickups.

Perfect for changing tires

The Mastercraft 20V Impact Wrench Kit is the perfect tool for at-home tire changes! I used this impact wrench to help my friend with their tire change and it made the job SO much quicker and easier than using a traditional lug wrench. The wrench loosened the lug nuts with ease and saved us a lot of time and effort. Definitely a handy tool to have around, and Id recommend it to anyone who dreads doing tire changes!
