Ladder is nice and solid. The top step is a plastic tray that is, very handy to set tools or hardware on. Ladder has a reasonable weight for the size of it. It was great to use, my Triangle Master Card to earn extra points, from the promotional offer.

Q: How does this ladder compare to the black mastercraft ladder, for stability. I understand there is a 50lbs weight rating difference. Also how does it compare to a Louisville

A: Stability should not be an issue with any of our ladder offerings as we rigorously test the quality to ensure they adhere to our quality of standards. The type 1A weight capacity is of our highest load rating at 300lbs. Depending on the type of work and surface you will be working on, you will want to ensure you have referenced our Ladder Selection Guide for proper selection.
