The MAXIMUM Masonry Cut-Off Wheel is designed for cutting through most common kinds of masonry, including concrete, block, limestone, sandstone, and tile. This wheel can act as an effective masonry cutter when paired with a compatible cutting machine. This MAXIMUM cut-off wheel also features arbours that provide compatibility with any cutting tool with the proper bore size. Bought this to replace a similar but different brand. Used this new one once and the inner metal collar detached from the rest of the cutting substrate. Took it back for a refund and bought a more durable brand elsewhere.

Couldn't Cut house brick!

a year ago

I've never used a masonary disc that couldn't cut brick. Yet here Canadian tire surprised me. I had to double check it wasn't a metal disc it was that bad. Luckily my father in law had another brand that then proceeded to cut like butter.... I literally wore this one down struggling looking/feeling like an idiot. Safe to say I don't recommend these.....

A: The MAXIMUM Masonry Cutting Wheel, Type 1, (#54-1843) is designed for use only with a 4-1/2” angle grinder only. Due to safety, It is not recommended to use this wheel with a circular saw.
