Waterproof But Inadequate Lock Loops

The case appears sufficiently rigid/suitable, but the lock loops (2) at each front corner are oddly small. The lock shackle will need to be of small diameter, but will also need to be sufficiently long. Nuisance. If you need to lock the case, make sure locks are in fact available first.

A solid box for the price, even better on sale. I own all 3 sizes and all perform well...however, there's a few weak points (ie: squishy handle, single action latches) That prevent me from using these for high dollar items or for air travel. Nanuk and Pelican are still my go to's for the expensive toys.

21 days down the Colorado river. I strapped it to the side of the raft and camped with it in the sand. In and out many times per day to access DSLR camera. Dry and dust free. The buckles close beautifully and easier than other brands. Surprised it is from Italy.

Q: Does Canadian Tire sell replacement foam for specifically this unit? An answer mentioned 58-1548 but its not the right size. It has been a year since that comment but I don't see Canadian Tire offering any solutions. Thanks.

Q: The Replacement cubed, pluck pick foam you previously mentioned "SKU: 58-1548: Cubed, pluck pick foam" seems like it has been designed for the thickness of the large box as the layers that originally come with this item are thinner. Suggestions?

A: The vendor suggested to use a padlock with a metal wire, see picture attached. Alternatively you can use a "standard" padlock where the straight part of the padlock has a minimum length of 3cm and a maximum diameter of 0.5cm, see picture attached.
