    The teeth came off

Key came off just cutting through a tin-wood core door

    Teeth break off.

I bought these on sale. They are worthless at any price. Carbide teeth break off. Box states they are designed for materials up to the hardness of metal, but don't use on anything harder than wood or plastic. Other reviewers seem to have similar experiences.

No, I do not recommend this product.

    Maximum disappointment

Bought this to drill a few holes to install new lock sets. Drilled exactly 3 holes and the 2-1/4 size distorted. Can't speak for the other cutters but based on the one cutter I do not have any faith.

No, I do not recommend this product.

    Avoid at all costs.

Had these given to me for Father's Day 2018. Finally used the, dec 2018, 6 months later. Used the 2 1/4" carbide hole saw to drill one hole in a thin electrical 6x6 junction box. I am NOT new to tools. Two carbide teeth came off instantly Absolutely garage. Store won't help as I can not provide a receipt as it was a gift. The entire set is new minus one use of on hole saw where the paint isn't even off that hole saw. Avoid.

Q: Replacement saws? Does Canadian Tire sell these Hole saws Individually? IE: I want to buy a 2-1/8 in. size, as well as purchase these individually if I happen to lose one.

    1 Answer
    • A: I have not seen them sold individually, but when on sale, just buy a second set (one Milwaukee HSS cost more than what I paid for the whole set, unfortunately I was less than pleased with the quality of the teeth sharpening).
