The MAXIMUM Impact Wrench Adaptor, ½”-¼”, can offer a convenient workaround for using bits designed for smaller drills or drivers with a larger power tool. This MAXIMUM adaptor boasts a ½" Drive connected to a ¼" hex-drive chuck that allows an impact wrench to be fitted with screwdriver bits. The adaptor also features a black oxide coating, which allows it to resist corrosion, rust, and other forms of damage over time. Wobbly and difficult to install at first.

Wobbly and difficult to correct. Very difficult to first install on the drive. Best advice, if you put it on and take it off the drive a bunch of times it seems to eventually seat better and becomes less wobbly. At first glance i said it was defective so i returned it for exchange only to find the new one was the same. Install and remove a bunch of times to get a better seat. Build quality though is really nice. Quick connect chuck is well made.

Need to use a 1/2" impact to work with 1/4" bits and the adapter worked well. Have no complaints and although Dewalt has a similar product it was more expensive and impossible to find.

A: No, product #54-4256 is 1/2" Dr.- 1/4" . We do not carry any adaptors with a 1/4” square drive.
