maximum 8 inch llinesman pliers

These pliers are very well made and very easy to grip onto while using . I noticed right away that pliers were machined to tight specs making it easy to grip onto small things .Also the plier handles were comfortable to use over a long period of time ..

Great set of Pliers to have around home and also on the job at your side. The pliers are very capable, excellent cutting power and gripping strength . Very durable and looks like they will stand the test of time, also backed up with a lifetime warranty against defects is even better. Great investment for your tool collection.

When regular pliers don't cut it.

Alright lets keep it short and sweet. I work in communications, so dealing with stripped bolts, rust, vandalized equipment, stubborn connections, its pretty much the status quo day to day that you have to get creative and get tough sometimes. Its because of that I expect something rugged, reliable, and versatile enough to tackle a job I never fully know what to expect from. Naturally, I turn to a pair of linesman's pliers, and its something I'd suggest someone looking for a bit more grunt in general look into. A combination of leverage and a robust pair of jaws, as well as a solid wire cutter that makes butter of even steel cabling and smaller bolts, its certainly hard to argue its not a capable tool. Pros Lifetime warranty. Its great piece of mind knowing even if you outlast the tool you always have a backup waiting. It also gives me the impression MAXIMUM is superbly confident in the quality of their tools. Solid rivet joint. The jaws doesn't even have a modicum of free play, and move smoothly only the way they're intended to. It should make using the wire cutters, as well as twisting connectors and wiring together reliable and easy for years to come. Chrome vanadium steel. It makes the tool solid and intensely robust feeling and instills a lot of confidence in its longevity. In a pinch, I've used it as a hammer, and only scuffed the surface. Even the black coatings on the edges of the tool refused to chip or pit driving in nails. The working surfaces are also advertised as being heat treated for hardness. Rubberized grips. Even in -30 weather, holding them with your bare hands is a non-issue. They also seem fused to the metal of the tool, and so won't slip or work themselves off. Cons MAXIMUM has a 9 1/2 pair with a few extra features as well as a little extra length. For my money its the pair I would get, as the extra length just seems to make it feel more capable and tougher. This pair is a little smaller and a little more general purpose, so its fair it lacks a few bells and whistles compared to some tools out there. This is less a con, though, and more to say you don't get some freebies. Overall, a great tool. I really have nothing to say down about it, its exactly what I expect out of a pair of linesman's. I'd have to give it ten, fifteen years of abuse to see if it compares to other tools that I have. For now I wouldn't hesitate to drop it in my tool bag, about the only way you can find a better deal is if you can get your boss to pay for it.

Maximum Linemans Pliers

This pair of pliers work as good as top tool truck brands. The crimping part in the handle eliminates the need for another tool. The grips on the handles are comfortable and functionable. Lifetime warranty is a plus. This is the 9 1/2inch pair of pliers. It would not let me post review unless 8 inch version was selected.
