Great unit holding a bare big block, the unit rotates 360 degrees and moves easily, unit does slips a bit when rotating block so you need to push the block in to line up holes for pin, likely just because it was new and not broken in to follow proper path on pin track, handle is removable to allow access 360 degrees around motor, mounting arms are great and can be set to any position for different motors and are secure as long as proper bolts, locks and washers are used to secure motor rolls easily around as long as handle is used to move engine and not pushing on motor.

A: This MAXIMUM Engine Stand was not designed for storing an outboard marine motor; the mounting points are designed to be mounted to the engine block of a motor vehicle. However, with some additional hardware we suppose it could be used to store an outboard motor.
