Q: Hi, Is this forstner bit will drill a hole in a composite deck ? Thanks !
2 years agoA: It should work although I only use it on maple, oak and some exotic hardwoods. The bits get very hot and you need to go slow and back off a lot to clear the bit. If you are drilling a lot of holes I would consider another brand and buy commercial the one or two you really need.

5 years agoA: Yes, the bit could be used with hand held drill and in a drill press. When using with hand drill, please make sure to apply some press on it and do not exceed the RPM which is marked on the bit shank.
