Breaks easily

I really liked the compact folding design. I bought these as it stated lifetime warranty.
However after about 6 cuts the jaw blade broke off. These jaws should be forged or CNC machined steel. However I received an exchange, due to keeping my receipt. I now have the fiskar 24inch as a substitute due to these Maximum's being discontinued. Lost the folding design with the Fiskar's. I'd consider re-buying just for the folding design.

Worked for small padlock.

Bought on sale Aug 2020 to cut padlock on storage unit due to lost key. Cut through the lock with minimum effort. Easily folds and unfolds and locks in both positions. Maximum lifetime warranty against defects. 1yr warranty on blades. Great value, will need it for my other storage unit due to lost key as well.

I have used the 24" to cut heavy duty chains and a couple of padlocks, a few big bolts. they have worked well for me these past few years, not sure why the bad reviews, mine are great.

Bought today, was able to snip a ..Common Master Padlock with ease/very little effort and no damage on cutting surface Very handy easy to store compact design. Im guessing
the poor reviews come from not knowing how to use properly. Not sure how they would be for someone for daily use ..but for the occosional pinch when needed..cant go
wrong.

horrible piece of garbage

i bought these bolt cutters today at canadian tire albert street in regina and went home to cut off a lock i had lost the key for on my shed and the blade ended up with a notch and couldnt even cut half way through the lock. im returning them tomorrow and getting a better set. i am very displeased with these.
No, I do not recommend this product.
