Love them

I have used these professionally for over a year now. I bought them on sale and thought I could abuse them when I didn’t want to use my weras. I have since found that they are my go to screwdrivers. I wish mastercraft would start putting this kind of thought and care into all of there tools. The only con is that the diamond coat chips away easily but to be honest, they are worth the money without it.

Garbage dont buy this is coming from a professional trades person

I gave 1 star because they wouldnt let me give 0 stars first screw I turned with the #1 philips was to stressful for that brutal screwdriver one side of the head chipped off rendering it useless. The 5/16" slotted hasnt even been used and the diamond coating is half off tried returning and brand new right of the box looked the same. Stay away from this product

Good drivers but quality control is bad

Overall the drivers are nice but the large slot driver had a lot of scuff marks and the tip was only partially covered with diamonds, not that it matters much. And another slot driver was missing most of the diamond coating and the black coating covered one side of the tip completely. I've noticed that the Maximum products had a lot more defects than the regular Mastercraft ones. This is likely the last Maximum product I'll get until I see evidence that it has improved.
No, I do not recommend this product.

This is probably the Only Mastercraft product I would recommend buying at Regular Price, I used the screwdrivers for about a year before writing this review, After using them daily, I can say they exceeded my expectations, I thought the whole striking caps we're a joke, But these drivers are meant to taking a beating, very Solid, the full tang makes a difference, They have a Diamond Grip on each tip, digs into screws even the junk ones you commonly run into, **they will wear down after daily constant use** Cons first, -The handles are a little to round, -Full black, Markings on the rear of the handles would be great Onto the Pros, -S2 Steel! -Ridge down the length of the screwdriver for Wrench leverage -Full tang -Striking Caps -Big handles Overall my thoughts on the screwdriver set, If you're looking for a screwdriver set that'll last a long time, oil & fluid resistant, Strong, these are the set for you

Q: Is this item being discontinued? On the webpage setting for one of my local store locations it said this was being discontinued.
