Worth every penny

These are worth every penny compared to other bits. I drill a lot of stainless steel (brutal on drill bits), and these are the ONLY bits that will make a hole without getting dull. The normal titanium coated bits take 3 bits to make one hole, I've made many holes with a single cobalt coated bit, and its still sharp.
Yup, they are expensive, but cheaper when you don't have to repeatedly buy new bits.

Good bits but not unbreakable

I was drilling into some steel supports on my gazebo and these would still break if I wasn't watching the angle as I broke through layers. just saying so other people's expectations arent too high.

Maximum cobalt drill bits

Bought this set thinking it would of been an easy drill through a double 1/16-inch steel plate (VW rocker bottom) however, could only drill through a couple holes with pressure applied, cutting lubricant used and snapped three bits in the process. These bits are advertised and supposed to drill into stainless steel. I’m very skeptical about that.
Not pleased with these bits!!!

A: 5% (M35)cobalt steel, which is better for freehand drilling (vs drill press) than M42 8% cobalt, which tends do be more prone to snapping when using a hand drill.

A: This set is cobalt drill bit set, and can be used to drill the class 10.9 bolt, as the hardness of the class 10.9 bolts is very high, so please make sure keep drilling at very low speed, at the same time it is necessary to add some cooling oil, otherwise, the life of the drill will be reduced.
