A fine product, but quite expensive

I really like this cabinet, especially at a $200 discount ($399). I probably wouldn't have bought it at the original $599 price. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is I found the assembly instructions a bit confusing, and the MASSIVE amount of packing material. All that packing material did ensure the cabinet arrived undamaged, but man, it took me 2 weeks to dispose of all in my wheelie bins.

Q: We bought this cabinet for our office. It looks great but when the lock is locked you can open the door simply by giving them a firm pull. Should the lock not actually lock the cabinet?

A: To make this cabinet lockable, one of the shelf should be placed at the center of the cabinet, and at the same time the slot underneath the shelf should be at the front side of the cabinet. Pls check to make sure one shelf is placed in this way.
