Broke after second use.

I bought this a couple years ago with my CT points. It stayed in the box basically new until I built my garage. I used it once with no problems; it had plenty of power. I used it a second time and half way through nailing it broke. It will not build pressure and blows the air through the trigger. I will have to see if I can get the seals rebuilt since the manufactures warranty is only 1 year .
No, I do not recommend this product.

Given the description of the issue with air escaping through the trigger, it seems like there might be a problem with the internal seals or O-rings. Framing Nailer overview

The maximum 34D pneumatic framing nailer is as advertised. It's lightweight makes it easy to use on all day projects. I have already used it on framinv jobs and a large deck build and performs excellent. I would definitely recommend and would buy it again.

A: This is a framing nail gun using clipped head nails. This is a construction tool with a variety length of nails available. This is not a Brad nail gun. Brad nails are used for fastening molding etc.

Q: What is the Product Model Number? Where is it made? Previous discontinued unit (CHF9034RA) was a piece of S&%T made in Zhejiang, China.

A: The model number is FN3490MX, both the appearance and the internal parts are different than the Mastercraft product (model # CHF9034RA). The quality is more premium in the Maximum Framing Nailer. Some features include: Lightweight and well balanced magnesium body; Easy and quick switch between sequential fire and bump fire; Tool-less adjustment of the depth; Over-mold hand grip; a convenient rafter hook and a super durable carry case.
