Une des douilles est arrivé à extraire un bouton que j'essayais d'extraire depuis des heures. Le métal est robuste et les dents ont bien mordu dans le métal plutôt que de s'arrondir comme pour un autre kit que j'avais essayé.

Although I understand if you can get a 14mm or 16mm on far enough it will work for most 15mm nuts, but I found it very frustrating that I needed a 15mm yet this set doesn’t come with one.

Bought this kit to remove stripped brake caliper bleeder screws. One of them was completely rounded but it was no problem with this kit. A great addition to your toolbox if you work on your own vehicles.

I was fighting all day long on a 17 year-old car to get calliper mounting bolts off. Torching it spraying it hammering it trying to torque it off four times with a mallet. All afternoon. No luck, nothing but a rounded bolt head. After googling, I found this. I wish I found this years ago. I put this on my torque wrench. Hit it hard three times with a mallet and it was coming off. Absolutely amazing. Anybody who does work in their garage at home should have this kit.

Yes, I recommend this product.

  • A: Use a hammer to hit and let it bite a rounded bolt and then attach it to your hand tool/impact wrench, problem solved:) Note that once you use this set to remove some bolts, these bolts will be damaged and therefore you'd better to buy replacements...The point of designing this set is to remove problematic bolts, not regular/healthy/good looking ones.

Q: Do you have to hammer the socket on the rounded nut to use it? I have an exhaust manifold stud / nut in a tight space and I don't think that I have enough room to swing a hammer to pound the socket on.

  • A: i would not suggest to use this tool on any nuts once you use it it will not come out of the socket i am not sure if it would work for bolt heads if you can get them out either

Q: After extracting the round bolt, in my case, a lug nut, how do I get it out of the remover tool? Seems jammed in there

  • A: Put back the damaged bolt into its original hole but not tightly. Then lightly hammer the bolt remover out of the damaged bolt by hitting the bolt remover up, down, left and right. Remove the damaged bolt by turning by hand.

Q: do you sell these separately? I bought a small set of these that included #3, #5, #7, #9, and #10. The case has spots for those ones plus #2, #4, #8, #12, and #13 and I wanted to fill those spots.
