Great Set for the DIY Mechanic

This is a perfect first set for any DIY mechanic. It has just about everything you need for basic car repairs. Quality is solid, as any DIY'er will ever need, and the lifetime warranty offers piece of mind sould anything ever break.
I've had this set for about a year and it's seen use almost every weekend. My latest project has been a complete engine rebuild on my car and I could probably count one one hand the times I needed a tool that wasn't in this set (ok maybe two hands, but this set is seriously well equipped). Everything has held up great and I have had zero problems. Nothing but goo things to say about everything.
And to all the tool snobs complaining about Maximum/Mastercraft quality: Stop abusing your tools. Anything will break if you beat on it enough.
I highly recommend this set.

This is an awesome kit when on sale. Much better ratchets then the regular Mastercraft and the light grey case makes it easier to see the sizes. A lot of people are complaining about the wrench sizes but I'll just swap out the sizes I don't need for ones I do use

metric wrenches are uncommon sizes

this is a nice kit... but i do a lot of work on european and asian vehicles... the metric ratchet wrenches are the most unsused sizes... 15,13,11, & 10... like what ???? no 14 or 12mm
