Very incompetent

Don’t waste your time, I order this online and got a confirmation email, a few days later I got an email with a delivery date. A few days later I got two emails saying that they were canceling the order, the next day I got an email confirming the order again so I logged in my account and it showed as cancelled. I called support and all I got was the order was cancelled because of unavailability, I doubled checked again and it was available online so on top of the runaround I was lied to. Canadian tire has become very incompetent, I spent over $5000 at their store in the last 12 months and that how they treated me. This not the first time and I am done with them

Very good welder and light weight

Bought this last week, used it in the shop on 1/4 steel and it burned in really good. Used it in the house today on a wood stove and it didn’t even flicker the lights or skip a beat. Bought it expecting to be let down considering I weld everyday at my work and it’s been amazing, 10/10

After owning the Mastercraft mig/ flux core welder for 20 years I was looking to upgrade to a multi process welder. I decided on the Maximum MP 200 for the simple fact that the Maximum build quality/ value and product design always had impressed me. They also offer a 3 year warranty on this unit. This welder so far seems well built and easy to use/ set up. Im looking forward to many years of welding. As a hobby welder having the ability to weld almost anyting is very exciting.

Great Value for a Multi-Process Welder

Got this recently to replace my old Lincoln MigPak. Excellent unit for the money. I've mostly been using the MIG feature so far but it works quite well. It has a MIG synergetic mode but i've been using the classic mode quite successfully. For a home hobbyist user it will be hard to find better value especially when it is on sale (as it is this week). The interface is easy to use, and can now actually use voltage and wire speed insead of "A" and "3" or other random assignments as the old lincoln did. Probably my only challenge so far has been that its a bit long for my mastercraft welder cart but still fits just fine.
