Not enough power

This 2-in-1 nailer does not have enough power to push the narrow staples deep enough. I was using only 1.5" narrow staples on melamine, even after adjusting the pressure to 110psi, the staples wouldn't go deep enough. They were sticking out just over 1/16". So I ended up returning it. I wanted to keep this nailer as I like Maximum brand.

This air nailer is great, I really like the Adjustable depth control and the very lite to use.

I bought this 2 weeks ago, I used this to build a cordless battery station. It works awesome!

Trigger broke

The quality of this gun seems pretty good but after about 2 weeks of work the trigger broke and now it's useless. I think the design of the trigger is the weak point, it's just plastic and does not seem durable. To make matters worse for me I bought the gun a year ago when it was on sale and just started using it now, so even though I've only used it for two weeks my one year warranty is expired so my Canadian Tire won't give me my money back or exchange the gun...that was a big waste of money for me! The only other issue I had is it doesn't shoot staples very deep. I set it to it's most powerful setting (I also have a big powerful compressor) but it still just barely shoots the staples deep enough that the head is flush with the wood (soft pine). If you don't press it into the wood really hard and flat you will have to finish it by hand with a punch which is not easy to do with staples and takes a lot of time.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Love this nailer

This nailer is impressive right out of the box from presentation to performance. I used this along side a nailer that carried a price point of double and I tried them both at different psi ranges and the finish was equal the only difference was the amount of plastic used and weight of the nailers. I do not use this all day every day so I would not spend double on the lighter gun to cut weight and plastic. look after your tools and they will be there for you in your time of need.

Yes, I recommend this product.
