Spindle issues

I bought this and started to use the spindle sander mode and no matter what I do the spindles slip off or will just stop while the spindle is rotating, it’s a terrible hassle to return it, does Canadian tire have any ideas or should I waste an hours drive to the nearest Canadian tire ?
No, I do not recommend this product.
