Good value Heavy Duty

Brought home a Dewalt cordless at first. Good product for sure and on sale but no battery!!!! Which was more expensive than the tool!! No mention of that from the person who merely unlocked the case. (After waiting around. Not helpful). Returned the cordless and saw this model for less than half the price. I realize it’s a house brand but whatever. Not cordless but It works great!!! A little heavy but that was good as I was cutting railway ties. I’m not a contractor so I’m speaking for homeowners and DIY. We bought the same brand of shop vac and it’s been great too.

Q: Does this saw use a brushless motor? If not, are replacement brushes sold by CT? How often should the brushes be changed?

  • A: The MAXIMUM circ saw with blade track is not a brushless unit. The brushes will last approx.. 100 hrs as per testing protocols. Unfortunately, we do not sell replacement brushes at this time.
