Q: What is the warranty for this saw? Not sure if it is a Canadian Tire brand, extra warranty?
2 years agoA: The saw has a 5 year limited warranty, It’s posted right in the item details. And yes MAXIMUM is a Canadian Tire only brand.

Q: We bought this product and made three easy cuts with it and it quit. Wouldn't start up. A contractor is using it so obviously he knows how to use it. Returned it and got a new one out of the box and the SAME thing happened.
3 years agoA: same issues I bought 1 and made 3 cuts and then returned it and purchased another and made 6 cuts same thing happened, no overload and was cutting 1x2 spruce

Q: These answers are so confusing. All the newest ones keep saying that it does not accommodate a DADO blade, yet the older questions say it does and even the manual says it does. So what is it? If it does, what size?
3 years agoA: It’s the same as the Metabo saw. The newer Metabo also does not accept a dado due to the shape of the Arbour bolt. The older Metabo did and so did the older maximum

4 years agoA: in the manual"DADO CUT A non-through cut which produces a square-sided notch or trough in the workpiece (requires a special blade)." Know your machine they said were it request to take off protector

Q: This table doesn't say in the manual, but the machine is identical to the dewalt DWE7491RS and the Metabo C10RJ(S) they look the same, use the same parts. More so to the latter. Both take a 8" 13/16", 20mm. Most sites suggest a 6" dado instead of 8"

Q: After 9 months, with little use last five months, the switch is not working properly. After several tries, the motor turned on once, but not since. If I press hard on the switch, it buzzes, but not turning on. Anyone else have this problem and a remedy?

Q: What is the manufacturing tolerance on the table top flatness? I just got mine and it dips 0.025'' around the blade.

Q: 1 Year ago "Will it take Dado blade" Ans " Yes ". 7 months ago : " What is the Dado maximum widht " Ans: "¾in.". Then 5 months ago : "What size of Dado will it takes. Ans. " Sorry this unit can not work with dados. What is the right answer?
