    Great replacement set

    I picked this up on sale as I had to get a replacement 1/4’’ socket set. Here is a list of everything that comes with this kit: - 1/4 inch rachet with push lock, - 3 extensions (3”,6”,10”) - U joint - Metric (both shallow and deep sockets) 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 mm and - SAE (both shallow and deep sockets) 5/32, 3/16, 7/32, 1/14, 9/32, 5/16, 11/32, 3/8, 7/16, 1/2, 9/16” Good deal if you buy it on sale. My only complaint is that I had to return for a new one as the clips to close the case would not lock. New one is working great so far but might be an issue after a lot of use.

    High Quality Set

    This is a high quality socket and ratchet set. The ratchet has a high tooth count so the ratcheting mechanism is smooth. There are a good assortment of sockets and extenders. It's a very compact set, so it's nice to pull out this set for a job as compared to the other very large socket set that I have. Great value when on sale.

    Q: It looks like a very nice set, but the lack of a 1/4" spinner handle seems like an obvious oversight. Does Canadian Tire ever plan to add this to the set with a future revision (without deleting any of the three nice extensions included with the set)?

    • A: At this point in time, there is no intention of adding a spinner handle to this set. We will take it under advisement for the future, but we do currently offer other, larger sets that would come with multiple drive sizes and a spinner handle.
