Better Tools Require Higher Standards

Quality material isn’t within the tool. When you use a 1/2 to 3/8 inch adapter, you expect the tool to be able to handle some 1/2 inch drive level of work. This tool failed and broke while applying 150 ft/lbs torque to a bolt. It didn’t make it past the first bolt and the adapter twisted apart. The tool was returned and not replaced.

Q: can this adaptor be used for a cordless impact wrench?

A: It could, but I would not do so. Get the black impact type adaptor. Over time it will deform both the male and female ends, making it difficult to remove it from the wrench and sockets from the male end.
