Looked Good Until....

I bought these on sale and immediately had to return them. They are sold as "Impact Sockets" however they do not fit all impact wrenches. I have a DeWalt impact with the hog ring anvil but these sockets will not slip past the hog ring. The hog ring compresses but then it hits the anvil itself and it stops. I then tried the socket on a breaker bar and torque wrench with the bearing detent and it worked great on those, so I assume they would fit an impact wrench that uses the pin detent. Here's the issue with the socket's design though. They are designed for automotive use and most automotive mechanics use an impact wrench that has the hog ring. IMO these sockets are under engineered. They should be able to work on both types of wrenches but don't. A true impact socket works on both

Très très très très mauvaise qualité

Pire ensemble de douille jamais acheter. J’ai cassé la 21mm deux fois en une semaine. Impossible de me faire rembourser. Je vais donc devoir allé échanger le tout régulièrement , quelle perte d’argent

I bought these a couple of years ago. They get used for winter/summer tire swaps. I thought they were pretty good until I had one break at 150 ft/lbs torque. Stripped the nut in the process. No warranty! I will not buy this again. The wheel nut came off easily with a thicker socket.

Great deal on excellent lug nut sockets

Great set for an excellent price at $50 on sale. Originally I wanted the comparable Milwaukee 9-pc set, but it's 3 times the price. This Maximum set is a much better value, especially because it comes with a lifetime warranty. These lug nut sockets work very well - they won't mar the paint on my aftermarket wheels because the plastic stays in place while the impact socket spins.
