I bought these a couple of years ago. They get used for winter/summer tire swaps. I thought they were pretty good until I had one break at 150 ft/lbs torque. Stripped the nut in the process. No warranty! I will not buy this again. The wheel nut came off easily with a thicker socket.

Great deal on excellent lug nut sockets

Great set for an excellent price at $50 on sale. Originally I wanted the comparable Milwaukee 9-pc set, but it's 3 times the price. This Maximum set is a much better value, especially because it comes with a lifetime warranty. These lug nut sockets work very well - they won't mar the paint on my aftermarket wheels because the plastic stays in place while the impact socket spins.

The only way to go for tires

Bought them for tires. I do 6 sets of tires every spring and fall and these special white pieces are the only way to go to protect the lug nuts and rims from damage. They work great

Great way to protect aluminum wheels

Despite being very careful I still manage to get scratches around the wheel lug holes. This sleeved deep socket set went on sale so I thought I would give it a try. This sleeved deep impact socket set works, they protect around the lug nuts
