Solid but difficult to use

It is solid. I didn't push it to extreme torques, but got some stuck wheel lugs off with a 2ft bar over this ratchet handle. I would not use it with a 3 or 4 ft extension bar. The head part does however bend quite a bit. The handle is long enough for a 1/2in ratchet. However, the 'flex head' is where the problem is. Sure, it is convenient in some situations, but there are many situations where I need the head to stay straight, and on this ratchet you can't lock the head. It gets difficult to use.

The diferance maker

The Flex Head Ratchet is a very heavy duty,high quality made wrench that will get you into tight spaces with ease.It has multiple flex settings that hold its position well, and the hefty weight makes it easy to loosen or tighten even the toughest bolts etc...I have a 72 Corvette, and the ratchet worked beautifully on the hard to reach spark plugs.

Maximum ratchets and wrenches, always known for their good quality. I thought maybe the flex head would become loose over time like the wrenches, but there is a hex head opening to re-tighten the flex if so desired. Can never go wrong with the warranty either!

The flex head ratchet is ok. Sturdy handle. Good ratchet. But the flex head is way to flimsy. The ball bearing doesn't give the pressure on the head assembly needed to keep it from flopping out of position. Needs a better way to keep the head at the angle wanted. Other than that works good.
