The Matrix Portable Adjustable Basketball System features a durable backboard with a hoop, net, and slam-proof rim so your kids can practice shooting and dunking. The base of this basketball backboard can hold up to 100kg (220.4lb) of water or 120kg (264.5lb) of sand to keep it sturdy. This basketball net is easy and quick to assemble as well as convenient to move. The adjustable basketball hoop can be lowered or raised to a series of heights between 7’6” and 10’ (228.6cm to 304.8cm), so kids of almost any age can use it.

Q: Purchased this unit May 19 from Canadian Tire. One of the plastic wheels that came with the unit crushed when my son was moving it in the driveway. I am hoping that these are covered under warranty. I would like to know how to get the replacement wheel

A: Roger the answer to this question.... I'll call customer service.... But I just had to add that the same thing happened to ours. Within 3 or 4 days of having it assembled and moving it in the driveway, one of the plastic wheels crushed / shattered. Pain to move now.... Will need a replacement.

Q: What's best way get play sand into the bottom, since it's thick and pasty, really hard to pour, but highly recommended? The lugs with springs, connected to the back board, are they completely snug or should be looser, for give when playing?

A: It is recommended to fill the base with dry sand. It may be difficult to fill the wet sand into the base hole. The strength of the springs with the rim can be adjusted by tighten the nuts. You may tighten the nuts at the backside until find the ideal strength for the rim. Normally the ends of the four bolts will comes out around 1 – 2 cm.

Q: hi, I bought this product 2 or 3 years ago. the day I bought it, I had a really trouble time using it because the adjustable height system wouldn't work properly. its been years and now im fed up with this. is there something I can do to fix it? Thanks

Q: I noticed the board has about a 5 degree tilt. Is there any adjustments I can make to correct this?

A: Please try to re-tighten the screws, especially the screws on the steel poles and backboard supporting bars. And please make sure that the ground is flat and even.
