Sturdy cart

Good quality cart for moving things from one room to another in my studio. It is quite big, do consider that the handles take up some space if you're in a small area.

Q: Does the length dimension include the handles? I am wondering whether each shelf is 48" long, or shorter (because the 48" includes the handles, which increase the overall length). Thank you.
